My love of real estate began at an early age. I vividly remember when I was young, my parents would drive around with my sister and I in tow to see open houses on Sunday after church. They weren’t looking to buy any of those specific houses, but rather gather ideas for the dream home they’d eventually build in my hometown of Richmond, VA. I remember being fascinated by the various floor plans and layouts. My imagination would run wild with the possibilities each home held.

Fast forward several years, HGTV House Hunters was one of my favorite shows. The funny thing looking back is I wonder why it never crossed my mind to become a real estate agent. I went off to the University of Tennessee (GO VOLS!) where I studied Journalism with a focus in TV news. If I could go back and give my younger self some advice, I’d tell her to pick something else. :)

I loved my four years at UT. It was there that I met some of my closest friends, many of whom where from Nashville. After a weekend trip to Nashville with my roommate freshman year, I fell in love with Music City knowing one day I’d make my way here.  Anyone who knows me knows I’m a DIEHARD UT football fan. I love football in general, but I bleed orange. In an effort to get out in four years, I saw my journalism degree through. [FUN FACT: Truth be told, I stuck with it because I thought I’d be a CMT host at some point!]  That led me to start a career as a TV news producer at a station back in Richmond. After two years, I got a job at a station in Nashville. I knew the local tv news life was not for me, so I made the transition into entertainment public relations.

I LOVE country music (Eric Church is my all-time favorite with Luke Combs sliding in second), so I was excited to get to work with artists both big and small. It was an incredible couple of years with experiences and memories I’ll cherish, but deep in my heart, I started to feel God pulling me in a different direction. Around the time I got into entertainment PR, I started toying with the idea of real estate, but was scared to take the plunge. Then, it was almost as if God brought it to my doorstep a few years later and this time, I was ready.

When I stepped into real estate, I stepped into my calling. This is not just a “job” or “career” for me. This is what I was born to do. It’s hard to explain the exact feeling I had when I knew this was right for me, but if you’ve ever experienced that feeling where you believe you are exact where you’re supposed to be doing exactly what you’re supposed to do at the time you’re supposed to do it, then you know what I’m talking about.

But, why is real estate my calling? If you know me, you know my “love language” is acts of service. In real estate, I get the honor of serving clients well and to the best of my ability every single day. For those that are into enneagram, I’m a three: The Achiever. I’ve always been a hard worker and I am continually striving to be the absolute best I can be for my clients, which feeds my desire to serve others well. Every day I push for excellence for both myself and my clients.

Being a three has also fueled my desire to not conform to outdated industry practices. I didn’t get into real estate to just be “good” or “average.” I want to be remarkable, which means challenging the old school practice of real estate. It’s my belief that those practices are part of the reason why agents can get a bad wrap being compared to dirty car salesmen, [i.e. schmoozing you in order to make a sale regardless if it’s in your best interest] It’s my mission to start to reframe the way agents are viewed by using innovation, technology, digital marketing, responsiveness, education and clear communication to best serve clients. I’m always striving to give clients a Five-Star service.

I specialize in three areas:

  • Savvy Sellers: The traditional method for selling homes is outdated. Placing on the MLS, sticking a sign in the yard and holding open houses, just doesn’t cut it anymore. We live in a digital age, which means we need to leverage digital media and technology to our benefit when it comes to selling. That’s why I use technology  and the same digital marketing strategies as Fortune 500 companies to help homeowners in Nashville sell quicker and for top dollar by showcasing and retargeting their home on the platforms where we know statistically buyers are searching. My strategy is so special and unique.  In fact, this type of marketing is only being done by less than a handful of realtors in Nashville. • Relocating To Nashville - Being a transplant myself, I totally understand what all goes into moving to a new city. It’s always my goal to always make the move as stress free and seamless as possible. You already have enough to worry about, so let me do the heavy lifting when it comes to finding your new home. I have absolutely loved helping several families relocate to Middle Tennessee and find their new happy haven. It’s such an honor and a joy being the trust go-to confidant during such a big life change.
  • First Time Home Buyers - I love working with first time home buyers because I remember the process so well from when I bought my first place. It’s such an exciting (sometimes scary) and memorable life experience. I love coming alongside a new first time homebuyer and guiding them through the process every step of the way. It’s such a sweet moment when I hand them the keys to their first home that I love. Thinking about making your dream of owning a home in Nashville a reality, grab my buyer’s guide here

I know it might sounds like I eat, sleep, and breathe real estate, but in my down time, I love spending time with my fiancé and our three dogs - a Golden Retriever named Rookie, an Alaskan Malamute named Noah and a Husky mutt named Astro. And YES, dog hair follows us everywhere we go, so that’s why we carry lint rollers everywhere! I love trying new restaurants around town because it seems like a new one pops up every day :) I absolutely love a good glass of red wine, a work out that kicks my tail, diving into personal development books/podcasts and watching The Bachelor/Bachelorette and reruns of Friends or The Office.

Buying or selling a property is a big decision, which is why it's more important than ever that you choose the right real estate professional to be on your side. Give Caitlin a call. She'd love to work with you!

After all...

How can I help you?
