If you know me, you know I have such a huge heart for dogs. I have two rescue babies of my own. So, I recently partnered with PAWS of Rutherford County to spotlight an animal each month in hopes of finding it a good loving home. It’s not always about finding people a home, but pets too!
August’s Pet Adoption Spotlight is Henry.
Henry is as sweet as he can be! He is a two year old Australian Cattle Dog and the Vets believe he is mixed with husky. He is an owner surrender because Henry used to live with chickens and would get himself into mischief with the fowl. He is still full of energy, so a home with a yard would be ideal. He will make a wonderful pet!!
Because of his mix, he does shed, so be prepared to vacuum! 🙂 He is a volunteer favorite at the shelter. He loves to be around people and is great with kids. He does have a dominant personality, so he would be best in an only-dog home.
He’s potty trained and knows commands. A member of the public sponsored his adoptions fees as well as a one-time in-home training session. If you’re interested in learning more about Henry, head down to PAWS and check him out!
