Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, real estate in Nashville is still moving forward. We are still seeing a ton of buyers flood the market. In fact, in March 2020, Nashville saw a nearly 3.5% increase in sales from March 2019. We are also up 9.1% in the first quarter of 2020 from the first quarter of 2019. So, as home buying continues to increase, an integral part of the transaction is the home inspection. As we are adhering to social distancing guideline, Jim Ruediger, owner of Galaxy Property Inspections, joined me to discuss how he is safely approaching home inspections to not only keep himself safe, but that of the seller’s as well. We talk about good health practices, what sellers need to know to prep their home and his pre-inspection checklist, which you can find here.
