The countdown is on to the NFL Draft here in Nashville! Some 300 THOUSAND people are expected to descend upon music city for the three day record-breaking event – as it is reportedly the largest festival footprint for an NFL Draft ever! If you and your buddies or your family are heading downtown to partake in the festivities…then I’ve got some helpful tips & tricks for you to navigate the chaos!

When: Thursday, April 25th – Saturday, April 27th

Where:

NFL Draft Main Stage – Broadway & 1st Ave

  • Free & open to the public to view Draft selections along with Tim McGraw & Dierks Bentley concerts on Friday & Saturday nights.

NFL Draft Experience – Nissan Stadium

Hours of operations:

    • April 25 (Thursday): 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
    • April 26 (Friday): 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
    • April 27 (Saturday): 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Activities & Events at the NFL Draft Experience:

    • Autograph Stage with current NFL players and NFL Legends
    • Interactive games, Play Football clinics, and PLAY 60 Zone for the smallest NFL fans
    • Photo with the Vince Lombardi Trophy
    • NFL Shop at Draft with exclusive NFL merchandise
    • Taste of Tailgate with Nashville restaurants and Bud Light Bars
    • NFL Draft Experience music stage with Nashville-based artists of all genres

Access to NFL Draft:

Download the NFL Fan Mobile Pass app. While the draft is free, you will still need a different ticket each day to enter. To access the tickets, download the NFL Fan Mobile app. You will need tickets to enter the Draft location,  but you do not need tickets for admission to the festival events over by Nissan Stadium.

Security Measures:

  1. For security purposes, bags should be no bigger than 12 x 12 x 6.

Tips:

  1. Download your NFL Fan Mobile pass app prior to going downtown. You don’t want to battle for the bandwidth to get the app downloaded. 
    • Nissan Stadium Lots A, B, C and D
    • Main Event Parking Lot at James Robertson Parkway and Main Street, 14 James Robertson Parkway
    • CrossPoint Church at 299 Cowan St.
  2. State of Tennessee lots No. 16, 28 and 29, located off James Robertson Parkway by Rosa L. Parks Boulevard, will have free parking after 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and all day Saturday.Plan your transportation. You’re best bet is likely going to be a rideshare, like Lyft or Uber. There will be several designated drop off & pick-up locations on both sides of the river. For a full list of locations, see below.

    Rideshare locations

    • Korean Veterans Boulevard from Fifth Avenue to Eighth Avenue
    • Commerce eastbound from Fourth Avenue to Fifth Avenue
    • Third Avenue northbound from Commerce to Church Street
    • Nissan Stadium:
      • Lot T on First Avenue between Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge and Pedestrian Bridge
      • Woodland Street between North First and North Second Street.

    **KEY TIP** Remember with rideshare, they can get you with price surging. If you want to try to avoid it, you can wait a few minutes to see if the surge rate drops because they can fluctuate drastically within minutes.

    **There will be extra food & drink vendors along Broadway. Those who are 21 & Up will be allowed to carry open containers along Broadway within the boundaries of the Draft event. Also, several bars & restaurants will have food & drink specials. Check them out here (bottom of the page).

    3. Make any restaurant reservations now! With some 100,000 people expected to pack Broadway, bars & restaurants will be overflowing. So, if you want to make sure you eat at your favorite spot, don’t wait to book!

4. Not all bars and restaurants will be open to the public. Many have been rented out for the duration of the draft.                   For an update to date list of those closed to the public, see the full list below.
