The Corona virus is dominating the news right now. The number of cases of COVID-19 continues to rise in Middle Tennessee, so if you are thinking of selling your home, you may be wondering how that is even possible right now. While social distancing is imperative right now, you also can’t stop your life. If you find yourself still needing to sell in the midst of the Corona virus, here are three things you can do to ensure you sell safely.
Virtual Video Tours
First, having a video tour is more important now than ever before. Your layout may not work for everyone, so this is a great way to make sure we are attracting the right buyer while also getting it the most exposure on platforms where buyers are searching. This is something unique to my listing process. With social distancing, prospective buyers now have even more time to scroll the internet searching for their dream home.

Qualified Buyers
Second, we can request that all buyers coming through are sufficiently qualified. Serious buyers who have secured some sort of approval for a loan or cash purchase.
Providing Protective Equipment
Finally, we can leave shoe protectors and gloves for prospective buyers to wear during their showings while also leaving notices around requesting shoppers to be mindful of keeping their hands to themselves. In preparation for the showing, you can leave open areas buyers may wish to look into to reduce any touching.
The Nashville real estate market is continuing to move forward. We are still seeing low inventory that doesn’t meet our high buyer demand, so if you are thinking of selling, there is still great opportunity available to home sellers in Nashville today. Don’t let the fears keep you from moving forward with your life.
